Built for real scientific work
Every feature below ships in v1.0 — no vaporware, no "coming soon" badges hiding as current features.
Plot 100 Million Points at 60 FPS
With WebGL2-based Level of Detail (LOD) rendering, explore massive datasets fluidly without crashing your PC. No downsampling surprises.
Embedded Python Integration
NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas libraries ship directly inside the installer. Zero setup, zero cloud dependency — your data never leaves your machine.
101 Verified Fitting Models
All regression and curve fitting models have exact mathematical parity verified against SciPy — Gaussian, Lorentzian, Voigt, multi-peak, baseline correction, and more.
JavaScript + Python Automation
Automate your plots and fits in seconds using JavaScript and Python inside a secure sandbox — featuring Monaco Editor (VS Code engine) with autocomplete and syntax highlighting.
Spreadsheet up to 10M+ Rows
CSV streaming import with zero data loss (fuzz-tested), Excel support, and live file watching for data that updates while you work.
Publication-Quality Vector Export
SVG, PDF, and PNG export built for journal submission — full 2D plotting plus core 3D, with a layout composer for multi-panel figures.
Smart Plot Digitizer
Convert raster plot images (PNG, JPEG, PDF) back into raw numerical coordinates. Automatically trace curves, detect data points, and align axes in seconds.
Smart Data Advisor
Get instant, context-aware suggestions for the best fitting models, outlier detection, and optimal plotting styles based on your active datasets.
Node-Based Data Pipelines
Design complex data processing pipelines visually. Connect data importers, filters, baseline subtraction nodes, and curve fitters without writing code.
Universal Data Import Engine
Open OriginPro projects, Igor experiments and raw XRD scans — no Origin, no Igor, no Python, no conversion script. 50+ formats, parsed locally on your machine.
Advanced Signal & Baseline Engine
9 digital filter types, 4 baseline algorithms (AsLS, AirPLS, SNIP, Rolling Ball), FFT/STFT spectrograms, and Wavelet decomposition.
Statistical Hypothesis & PCA Engine
10 hypothesis tests (ANOVA, t-test, Shapiro-Wilk), Pearson/Spearman correlation matrices, PCA via SVD, and KDE distribution fits.
ExportModalV4 & 17 Journal Presets
4-tab export modal with 17 publisher presets (Nature, IEEE, ACS, Elsevier), 72–1200 DPI scaling, and Okabe-Ito colorblind palettes.
Layout Composer (Multi-Panel Figures)
Arrange multi-panel figures (A, B, C, D) with 13 grid templates, auto-labeling, millimeter dimensioning, and one-click PDF export.
Reactive Data Analysis Notebook
Cell-based Python & JS execution with auto-updating reactive cells upon column changes, plus Jupyter (.ipynb) & Jupytext export.
Zero-Code Macro & Provenance Audit
Record GUI steps into replayable macros with hotkeys, backed by full provenance audit trails and .aplotrepro reproducibility packages.
3D & GPU WebGL Visualization
11 3D chart types (Surface, Mesh3D, Volume, Isosurface) plus GPU-accelerated WebGL2 heatmap rendering for 100K+ data cells.
What v1.0 does not include yet
In the interest of not overselling: interactive drag-to-fit is not in v1.0 (planned next), the statistics engine has no dedicated UI yet, and AltaiPlot cannot open legacy binary project files. macOS/Linux and code signing are also post-v1.0. See thechangelog for what's shipped and what's next.
